TEMPORARY VISA APPLICATIONS
Guideline Fees

FROM THE 1ST OF AUGUST 2019

EXTENSIONS TO EXISTING TEMPORARY VISAS WHERE NO DIFFICULTIES ANTICIPATED:

(i) Where a client requires an extension to an existing temporary Visitors visa where the client is clearly entitled to a further extension in accordance with NZIS policy:

• Our fee $1,200.00- $1,500.00 plus GST + disbursements
• Deposit of $1,100.00 plus the NZIS fee (if any) is required*

(ii) Where a client requires an extension to an existing Work Visa where the client is clearly entitled to a further extension in accordance with INZ policy:

• Our fee $2,200.00 plus GST + disbursements
  
• Deposit of $1,800.00 plus the INZ fee ( if any)is required

(iii) Where there are likely to be difficulties obtaining an extension to an existing visa then the estimate fees above will increase. Time spent dealing with the INZ after lodgement of the application will be charged on a time spent basis.

APPLYING FOR A NEW TEMPORARY VISA

(i) Applying for a work visa or student visa for the first time or an extension to a work/student visa where maximum time on a work/student visa has already been granted:

• Our fee for lodging an application for a work visa/student visa is $2,200.00 plus GST + disbursements
• If an employment contract is required to be drafted this will be also charged according to the difficulty involved and the number of provisions required in the contract.  Generally the fee for this will be $375.00 plus GST
• Where the applicant resides overseas an extra $400.00 plus GST will be charged on top of our fee of $2,200.00 when the application is lodged
• After lodgement of the application, if there is a need for any further work to be done, this will be charged on a time spent/work done basis
• Deposit required is $2,000.00 plus the INZ fees.  If an employment contract is to be drafted then this will need to be paid as well as the $2,000.00 deposit prior to lodgement of the application.

(ii) Visitors Visas where Applicant is overseas and wanting to visit New Zealand:

• Our fee for lodging the application is $1800.00 plus GST + disbursements.  Thereafter any work is charged on a time spent/work done basis
• A deposit of $1,600.00 plus the application fee is required
  
   

* Please note that if you are based overseas at the time you instruct us to represent you then we may ask for our deposit to be higher to cover the associated risk of non-recovery
